Talisman: Guitar pick (arete 2, quint 10) The guitar pick has two effects. The first allows Shredder to store a point of quintessence from his life pattern with each success (prime 1). The second allows him to perform conjunctional effects that require Prime 2 as part of the effect. Successes in using the first effect drain points of quintessence from the pick (i.e., 2 successes drains 2 points); a failure does not drain a point, but a botch does. The second effect always succeeds (i.e. allows Shredder to attempt the conjunctional effect) and always drains 2 points of quintessence from the pick.
